Baby girl A'vya Dior Jones lovingly tiptoed into the lives of Deontay Jones, Sr. and Shontoria McCray. She was born silent on August 8, 2023, the date an angel wrote her name in the Lamb's Book of Life. As she closed the Book, she then quietly whispered, "Too beautiful for Earth."

Little Footprints
How very softly you tiptoed into our world
Almost silently you stayed,
But what an imprint your footsteps
Have left upon our hearts
A heart of gold stopped beating
Our baby girl's eyes at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.
God knew she had to leave us,
But she did not go alone.
For part of us went with her,
The day He took her home.

A'vya Dior Jones left precious and everlasting footprints on the hearts of her loving parents: Deontay Jones, Sr. and Shontoria McCray, both of Madison, Florida; brothers: Henry McCray, Kayden McCray, Deontay Jones, Jr. Ja'Silas Graham, Ja'Keem Graham, and Thailan Jones, all of Madison, Florida; maternal grandparents: Gregory Graham of Madison, Florida and Latoya (Keenam) Ross of Jacksonville, Florida; maternal great-grandparents: Charlie Mae Sanford and Jimmy Graham of Madison, Florida and Jenethel Smith, of Jacksonville, Florida; along with many other loving relatives and sympathetic friends.
