On February 18, 2023, Bernard Wayne Runnels of Potter, Nebraska passed away in Madison, Florida at the age of 85.

Bernie leaves behind his daughters, Jackie Ebersole and Brenda Batson and son, Charles Runnels, his 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, his surviving sisters, nephews and nieces.

Bernie was predeceased by his loving wife Jaynee of 62 years .

Bernie had a work ethic like no other.  He enjoyed a warmer climate and was always going someplace.

He will be greatly missed for his unique sense of humor and love for playing cards with family and friends.
