Obituary

SISTER BESSIE LEE WARREN PALMORE

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
-Psalm 23:4

Bessie Lee Warren Palmore was the daughter of Jonathan "Joe Nathan" Warren and Rutha Davis Solomon but was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Bessie and General Washington. She was a lifelong resident of Madison, Florida. Preceding her in death were her father, grandparents, and brother, Jonathan Warren, Jr., son, Tavares Richardson, and daughter, LaKechia Warren.

Professing her faith early in life, Bessie became an active member of Mt. Zion House of Prayer who faithfully served until her health began to decline and she was unable to attend.

Her children, grandchildren, and others who knew her best, regarded Bessie as warm and caring, a loving spirit, with a genuine love of God and family. She loved doing things for others to help them have a better life. She began her employment as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), but her career changed course when she became a stay-at-home grandmother who helped raise her grandchildren. She deeply loved her family and centered her life around their well-being. Fun loving and kind, she was also a kid at heart, who provided the young children with opportunities to be kids. She supervised their outside play, and on hot, summer days, she took them to the Darbine Pond, her idea for a quick solution to their having an at home water park experience. All in all, she created lasting memories for the young ones to treasure forever.

Bessie had a giving spirit that extended beyond her family and friends. She showed compassion to others and gave a helping hand by whatever means necessary. This included her helping seriously ill children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with her monthly donations.

Keeping up with current events and being aware of the local happenings as well as those in the fast-paced world was one of Bessie's daily routines. This gave her opportunities for discussion and sharing opinions with others.

Bessie Lee Warren Palmore transitioned peacefully to her eternal home on Monday, April 19, 2021. Although her loved ones' hearts are heavy, they find comfort in knowing that she is in heaven watching over them.

"Death leaves heartaches that no one can heal. Love leaves memories that no one can steal." Cherishing her loving and sweet memory are her children: Zerron McDaniel, Therron McDaniel, and Kimberly English, all of Madison, FL; grandchildren: Chaszmeque Rachel of Orlando, FL; Gerald Alexander and Laidarious Gillyard, both from Washington State; Brittani Gillyard, Rakayla Harris, Christopher Bevel, Jr, Skylar Flores, Raina Hollie, Treasure Hollie, G'Khaye Hollie, Azerion McDaniel, LaDarius McDaniel, Theron McDaniel, Tyron McDaniel, Zarreyon McDaniel, and Royalti McDaniel, all of Madison, FL; mother, Rutha Davis Solomon; sister: Carolyn Sibley of Atlanta, GA, and Gladys Solomon of Valdosta, GA; special friends: ("DJ") Sharon Brooks, Freddy Simmons, both of Madison, FL and Carolyn Warren of Valdosta, GA; along with many other sorrowing relatives, friends, and neighbors.
