BRANDON LYVONNE BEVEL, SR., was born to Yvonne McCray and Thomas Bevel, Sr. However, the Lord gave the responsibility of his upbringing to his grandparents, Arthur and Donella McCray. A woman of great faith, his grandmother saw to it that Brandon was brought up to have a relationship with the Lord. He attended Trinity Ministries Church, where he later confessed his belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, was saved by His grace, and was baptized by faith.

A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida, "Bee, " as he was affectionally known by family and friends, attended the Duval County Public Schools. He later met and married Shirley T. Brown. Brandon became the father of five children, whom he dearly loved. He enjoyed spending time with them as well as his extended family members.

Brandon was an avid football fan, especially for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Baltimore Ravens. For the sake of variety, he also enjoyed playing poker and being with friends.

He was employed at Johnson Storage and Moving Company. On Sunday, February 21, 2021, God Almighty summoned BROTHER BRANDON LYVONNE BEVEL, SR., home for his eternal rest. He is now resting in the arms of His Lord and Savior.

Those preceding him in death were his parents: Thomas Bevel, Sr., and Yvonne McCray; grandparents: Arthur and Donella McCray; brother: Mario McCray; sister: Teondra Williams; and devoted cousin: Darien Sulph. Those left to love and forever cherish his loving memory are: his wife: Shirley T. Brown-Bevel; children: Brandon Bevel, Jr., Jaidon Bevel, Brenton Bevel, Kaylan Bevel, and Chloe Bevel; brothers: Antorio McCray and Thomas Bevel, Jr.; aunts: Barbara Fisher, Donna Sapp, and Diane (Pastor Jimmie Jr.) Brinson; uncles: Lyvonne McCray and Arthur McCray; nieces: Tommisha Bevel, Shaniyah Bevel, Markiesha McCray, Kemauri McCray, and Kemoni McCray; nephews: Frankie Dennard, Mario McCray, Jr., and Denzel White; devoted cousin: Kenneth Hackley; and many sorrowing relatives and loving friends.
