Coleman Raines
June 23, 1944 - March 22, 2026

In quiet ways, a life was lived,
Not loud in praise, nor richly told,
But measured in the days he gave,
In simple strength, in spirit bold.

Coleman walked this world on steady ground,
Through seasons both gentle and hard,
Carrying burdens few could see,
Yet pressing on, leaving his mark.

Though paths he traveled may seem unknown,
And chapters kept from many eyes,
His life still mattered—deep and true,
A soul of worth no one denies.

For every life holds sacred light,
A purpose woven by God’s own hand,
And Coleman's light, though softly shined,
Was part of a greater, loving plan.

Today we pause to speak his name,
To honor breath and time he gave,
To say with care, with dignity—He is remembered,
beyond the grave.

May peace now rest upon his soul,
May mercy gently be his guide,
And may he find eternal home,
Where love and grace forever abide.
