DEBORAH ANN CRADDOCK FOULKES
OCTOBER 3, 1958 – JANUARY 28, 2025
"Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter the joy of the Master." ~ Matthew 25:21~
Deborah Ann Craddock Foulkes was born in Dothan, Alabama, on October 3, 1958, to Homer Lee Lewis and Charles Craddock, Sr. She relocated to Hollywood, Florida, during her formative years and later attended Hollywood High School. She was a resident of Madison, Florida, for many years.
During her early adolescence, Deborah met Joseph Foulkes who would become the love of her life. Years later, the couple later united in Holy matrimony, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Because their bond was one of mutual respect, they lovingly built a life together that was filled with cherished memories. He was her pillar of support, companion, and protector.
Deborah, at a youthful age, accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. This decision shaped her life and led her to render service to her community with love and devotion. After the couple relocated to Madison, Florida, she became a faithful member of Latma Christian Center where she was currently under the pastoral leadership of A.T. Mobley. In the spirit of generosity and helpfulness to others, she joyfully served as an usher and assisted anywhere else she was needed.
Deborah was an Environmental Service worker who made sure that Madison Nursing Home Center was fragrant and sanitized. Known for her warmth and kindness, she was able to touch the lives of the residents, guests, and coworkers with her bright personality, faithful work ethic and loving heart.
Deborah Ann Craddock Foulkes lived to die only to live again. On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, she departed this earthly life and transitioned to her new home and her new life of eternal peace.
Deborah Ann Craddock Foulkes touched the lives of individuals she met, leaving memories of her kindness, warmth and her unwavering support. However, she considered her extended family to be most important to her, and she cherished the bonds that were created with each generation. Loved ones who will miss her until they meet again are her beloved husband of 48 years: Joseph Foulkes of Madison, FL; loving brother who shared with her countless moments of joy and laughter and whose spirit will live on in his heart: Johnny (Helen) Craddock of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; godson she lovingly nurtured with guidance and affection: Ladarrius Fayson of Madison, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, sisters-in-love and brothers-in-love, each who held a special place in her life. Her absence will also be profoundly felt by her other compassionate relatives and her circle of sorrowing friends. Preceding Deborah Foulkes in death were her parents: Homer Lee Lewis and Charles Craddock, Sr.; grandmother: Lila Bell Lewis; sister: Charlene Craddock; brothers: Larry Craddock, Charles Craddock II, Ricky Craddock, and Jerome Craddock; and great aunts: Irene Boyd and Mytrice Guilford.
