DERRICK EDWARDS, affectionately known as "RUSS" to family and friends, was a cherished son, brother, and friend, touched many lives with his kindness and gentle spirit. He will be fondly remembered for his infectious laughter, love for family, and zest for life. His absence leaves a void in our hearts, but his memory will be cherished forever. His love and legacy will be treasured by his daughter: Jakira K. Edwards; grandchildren: Zyeir, Zy'Lah, Cayden and Jayden; mother: Minnie (Eddie) Turner; siblings: Lukeeta Gallon, Vickie Walters, Cedrick Edwards, Kendra (Marvin Jones) and Cherel; cousin: Evelyn Butler; devoted friends: Mike Brown, Tyrone Brown, Keith Bellamy and Lapadre Blackshear; and a large extended family and friends.
