Easter Bell Lane Arnold
1962 – 2023
"The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want." - Psalm 23:1
Easter Bell Lane Arnold was born on June 10, 1962, in Madison, Florida, and lived in the Greenville community most of her life. However, she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida during her later years.
Preceding Easter Bell in death were her husband: Freddie Arnold; parents: Thomas Lane and Betty Lou Copeland and Ruthie Lane who also helped to raise her; and sisters: Ernestine Arnold, Winnie Lane, Joyce Lane Bruton, Jackie Lane, and Ruby Lane; and bonus daughter: Pamela Arnold.
Easter Bell accepted Christ as her Savior and joined the family of faith at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, Florida.
Easter Bell was educated in the Madison County Public School System and required her children to do likewise. She encouraged them to take advantage of opportunities that would enable them to be successful in life; as a result, she was proud of the wise choices they made.
Easter Bell unconditionally loved her family, valued her friends, and treasured life itself. She willingly gave them a helping hand and a willing heart. She looked forward to spending as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren, as well as calling family and friends to keep in touch, but she also enjoyed her "me time". Easter challenged herself to complete crossword puzzles and valued the times she listened to music.
On Monday, May 8, 2023, Easter Bell Lane Arnold answered the Master's call and crossed from this walk of life. She gently closed her eyes, departed this earthly life, and transitioned to her eternal home.
While Easter Bell Lane Arnold is gone from their sight, she will never depart from their hearts. Forever cherishing her precious memory are her children: Darlene (Gavin) Demps-Burch, Bud Demps, Jr., and Allen (Renee) Demps, and Joseph (Jessie) Davis; bonus children: Elizabeth Davis, Elder Tony (Lisa) Davis, Wayne Davis, and Joseph Davis; godchild: Germany Bruton; grandchildren: Joy Bellamy, Tamela Arnold, Magell Arnold, Deon'Taye Livingston, Avience Burch, Sha'miya Thompkins, Alana Demps, Jamariyon Davis, Gavin Burch, Jr., Ayonna Davis, Keyon Davis, and Kyree Davis; sisters: Norma Arnold, Rosa (Charles) Lane Conwway, Sandra (Damon) Cobb, Debra Dobbs; brothers: Love (Andrea) Simmons, Sammy Lane, Jesse Dansey; special brother-in-law: Willis Bruton; god sister: Marion Copeland; six great-grandchildren; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
