MR. ERNEST "MAC" MCALLISTER
August 14, 1946 – November 4, 2024
"Someone So Special Can Never Be Forgotten"

Ernest McAllister, the son of IB McAllister and Lillie Mae Hitchman McAllister, was affectionately known as "Mac." He was born on August 14, 1946, in Ft. Pierce, Florida. During his later years, he became a resident of Madison, Florida.

Mac's personality could be regarded as complex. On one hand, he could be entertaining with his sense of humor. However, when necessary, he could also reflect his no-nonsense attitude towards the misconduct of others.

Mac was employed as an audio-visual technician by the Miami-Dade County School District. He was an expert at diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, and restoring computers and other devices.

During his leisure time, Mac looked forward to spending time in the fresh air and sunshine. He enjoyed working on his land, raising chickens and goats, and taking care of his fishponds.

Ernest McAllister departed this earthly life on Monday, November 4, 2024. He is gone from his loved ones' sight but never from their hearts.

Ernest McAllister was determined to make each day count by doing as much as he could, for all that he could, and in any way that he could. Loved ones who will cherish the precious memories of his life, his love, and his legacy are his devoted companion: Renee Z. White; loving children: Lashonda D. McAllister, Ernest A. McAllister, Elizabeth J. McAllister' Eboni M. McAllister, Aniceto E. McAllister, David A. McAllister, Issac B. McAllister, Samuel McAllister, and Nakia McClain; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many other sorrowing relatives and compassionate friends. Preceding Ernest "Mac" McAllister in death were his parents, IB McAllister and Lillie Mae Hitchman McAllister.
