Obituary

Jacarri Theorian Richardson
"Carri"

Jacarrri Theorian Ricardson, affectionately called "Carri," was born on April 19, 2011, in Tallahassee, Florida. He was the youngest of three sons born to Melissa Vanette Thompson-Moore (Mitchum) The family resided in Madison, Florida, until 2015 when they relocated to Jacksonville, Florida.

God, for His on purpose and in His own way, uses anyone to accomplish His tasks. While Carri was born with challenges, he was gifted with a charming personality - an infectious smile and laughter that could liven up any room. He was truly a bright light in the lives of his family, schoolmates, and friends. He blessed many others with his gentle and loving spirit he generously shared with everyone he encountered throughout his brief lifetime.

Carri was a student at Mount Herman Exceptional Student Center in Jacksonville. He was blessed to have established a close bond with Mr. Kient Claude Ramos, his favorite teacher. Not only did Mr. Ramos understand Carri's challenges, but he also had tremendous patience and support to help him on his educational journey.

Jacarri found joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending time on the swings at the park with his dad. He also spent a lot of time using his imagination as he played with his sensory toys. Like most other young teenagers, he loved listening to music, joy riding, and eating constantly, especially his favorites, Ramen Noodles and pizza.

Surrounded by his loving family at his bedside on December 6, 2025, Jacarri Theorian Richardson's bright light dimmed as he unexpectedly transitioned from this walk of life only to become the angel with the brightest welcoming smile standing at heaven's gates.

"Time is not measured by the years that you live, but by the deeds that you do and the joy that you give." Those whose lives were impacted by his love, laughter, and life are his loving and devoted parents: Melissa Varnette Thompson-Moore and supportive father for the past eight years, Stanley Charles Mitchum; attentive older brothers: Da'Rell Lashawn (Dee) Jones and Jimaren James (Bitty) Simpo! Jacarri's Smile
Though your smile is gone forever,
And your hand we cannot touch.
Still, we have so many memories
Of the one we loved so much.
Your memory is our keepsake
With which we never part.
God has you in His keeping
We have you in our hearts.

It is sad to walk the road alone,
Instead of side by side.
But to all, there comes a moment
When the ways of life divide.
You gave us years of happiness
Then came sorrow and tears.
But you left us beautiful memories
We will treasure through the years.
