Larry Mitchell Howard
"BB"
1960 -2023
"Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal."

Larry Mitchell Howard was born to Frank Mitchell Howard and Eddie Virginia Howard on September 26, 1960, in Monticello, Florida. He grew up in the Ashville, Florida community of Jefferson County but resided in Orlando, Florida, most of his adult life. He was affectionately known as "BB."

Larry was preceded in death by his mother.

Larry joined the community of believers when he accepted Christ as his personal Savior, was baptized by faith, and became a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello. He was educated in the Jefferson County School District where he also played football. Larry was a 1978 graduate of Jefferson High School.

For the last 12 years, Larry was employed as a custodian who worked tirelessly to give the best of his service at Wrico Stamping.

In his leisure time, Larry enjoyed playing basketball and fellowshipping with his family and friends. Because he was always there with a helping hand and a willing heart, he will be remembered as a loving and concerned father, brother, son, uncle, and friend.

On Friday, August 25, 2023, Larry "BB" Howard unexpectedly departed this earthly life and transitioned to his eternal home. Many hearts are saddened because a leaf from their family tree has fallen but they will accept their loss with Christian submission to God's will.

Larry Mitchell "BB" Howard is gone from his loved ones' sight but never from their hearts. Faith allows them to know that they will meet again one day. He leaves to cherish his precious memory and to celebrate his life Larry's one and only son: Dylan Howard of Reidsville, NC; his loving father: Frank Howard of Ashville, FL; brothers: Jimmy (Janine) Howard of Valdosta, GA, William (Valencia) Howard of Tampa, FL, and Robert (Yevonne) Howard of Lee, FL; sisters: Ellen (Greg) Cooley of Madison, FL, Alacia (Kenneth) Spencer of Quitman, GA, and Daphne Hardwick of Tallahassee, FL; godsister: Annie Mae Jones of Monticello, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; along with many other sorrowing friends.
