Brother Lewis Randolph Graham
August 7, 1956 – May 29, 2025
"Randy"
When We All Get to Heaven, What a Day of Rejoicing That Will Be

Brother Lewis Randolph Graham was born on August 7, 1956, to Gus Graham and Acie Mae Newton Graham; however, he was also the son of his village – those who supported, encouraged, and expected him to succeed in life.  Affectionately known as "Randy," he later acquired the nickname "Gus" in memory of his dad during his later years.  He was a lifelong resident of the "Big Valley" community of Madison, Florida.

Randy was nurtured in a home where Christian values were emphasized and the love for God was evident. Their family was faithful in service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Under the pastoral leadership of the Reverend James C. Miller, Randy accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was actively involved in the youth department. Because of his love for singing, he blended his talent with others in the choir. During the next season of his life, he continued to be spiritually uplifted with the Word of God which strengthened his faith and his commitment to the church. He faithfully rendered his service and was very dependable in assisting wherever he was needed.

Randy received his formal education in the Madison County School System and was a proud 1975 Madison High School graduate. Following graduation, Randy chose to begin his employment career. He worked at the Madison House Factory until its closure and for Johnson & Johnson (currently The Pit Stop) where he was proficient in changing and repairing tires.

To occupy his leisure time, Randy loved to quietly observe nature, maintain his yard, and    collect older model cars to cruise around town. Afterwards, he enjoyed settling down to watch westerns and to eat Oreo cookies. Because of his passion for singing, he looked forward to harmonizing with the members of the Madison Community Choir.

Brother Lewis Randolph Graham knew that this world was not his home but rather a temporary residence until the Lord called him from earthly labor to receive eternal rest. In His divine plan, He designated Thursday, May 29, 2025, to grant Randy his Heavenly reward and his seat in the Heavenly choir.

During this period of his transition, may the memories of Brother Lewis Randolph "Randy" Graham bring comfort to his loved ones and that God's grace sustains and embraces them with His everlasting love. Cherishing his life, love, and legacy are his daughters: Fontella (Christopher) Monlyn, Jessica Graham, and Cadeja Graham, all of Madison, FL; son: Darrell Barfield of Atlanta, GA; sister: Alfreda (George) Demps of Perry, FL; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many other heartbroken relatives, sorrowing church family, and loving friends.

Beloved family members who preceded Brother Lewis Randolph "Randy" Graham in death were his parents: Gus Graham and Acie Lee Newton Graham; sister: Clara Nell Graham Felder; and brother: George Graham. May they all rest in everlasting peace.
