IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Joyce
Jones
November 25, 1959 – January 13, 2023
Linda Joyce Jones
1959 — 2023
"When we all get to Heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be!"
In His Master plan, God chose Linda Joyce Jones to be born November 25, 1959, and to be the baby daughter of Willie Charles Jones and Thelma Jones. He also chose their family for her to be cared for and loved unconditionally. She was a lifelong resident of Madison, Florida.
Preceding Linda in death were both parents: Willie Charles and Thelma Jones.
Linda, in her uniqueness, was good-natured and pleasant to be around. She allowed God's light within her to be a beacon of hope for others. Despite her challenges, she humbled herself to know of God's love for herself and everyone else. Most of all, she was steadfast in her belief.
Linda Joyce could also be somewhat insistent and humorous at times. Although she enjoyed watching television, she refused to have the volume loud. Likewise, she was somehow aware that money was important and loved receiving it.
In her humbleness and in her own way, Linda Joyce Jones would have wanted to express her everlasting love for her family and her entire village of supporters who stood by her all her life.
However, God chose Friday, January 13, 2023, for Linda Joyce Jones to come home and be a part of His heavenly garden. She answered the Master's call and transitioned to His eternal home.
Linda Joyce Jones holds a place in the hearts of her loved ones, no one can ever fill. Those who will forever cherish her special memories are her sisters: Glenda Jones of Madison, FL, Dorothy (Lonnie) Coleman of Cordele, GA, Vivian (James) Miller of Tallahassee, FL; niece, raised as a sister: Shaquita (Kerry) McDaniel; brothers: Eddie Jackson of Tallahassee, FL and Michael Jones of Madison, FL; nephew, raised as a brother: Lorenza (Mamie) Roundtree of Jacksonville, FL; aunt: Lou Pride of Madison, FL; special cousin: Gianni P. Jackson of Madison, FL; devoted caregiver: Lawanda Gibson; along with many other loving relatives and sorrowing friends.
