Mikeshia Bre'shay Arnold
"Ny-Ny"
"Yea, thou I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me." - Psalm 23:4
Mikeshia Bre'shay Arnold was born on July 27, 1994, to Dewana Pridgeon and Kendrick Arnold. She was affectionately known as Ny-Ny by her family and friends. She was a lifelong resident in the Madison, Florida community.
Preceding Mikeshia in death were her brother: Frederick Arnold, paternal grandparents: Eddie Arnold and Earnestine Lane Arnold and her maternal grandmother: Lillie Ruth Alexander, who passed away seven weeks earlier.
Ny-Ny was loved by all because she blessed them with her bright unwavering spirit and her cheerful, compassionate heart. She was kind, sweet, and loving and treated everyone with Christlike love and compassion.
Mikeshia was educated in the Madison County Public School District and graduated with the Madison County High School class of 2012. "A precious one from us has gone; a voice is now still. A place is vacant in our hearts which can never be filled."
Ny-Ny had a very close bond with her grandparents Lillie Ruth and Leroy who not only spoiled her as only grandparents could do but were also her number one encouragers. She was their pretty girl, their princess, the one who loved to wear her fashionable attire with her uniquely glamorous hair styles.
For her pastime enjoyment, Ny-Ny thoroughly enjoyed seafood dining as much as she enjoyed using her phone.
Mikeshia Bre'shay Arnold's life would seem too short to many, but those who were blessed by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on everyone's hearts exceed the amount of time she was alive. On Sunday, August 27, 2023, Ny-Ny was "changed, healed, freed, and delivered. Because she found joy, peace, grace, and favor", she gave up her fight for life on earth to rest eternally in the presence of the Lord.
Their minds now hold precious memories, and their hearts are keepers of Mikeshia Bre'shay Arnold's love. Forever cherishing these memories are her parents: Dewana Pridgeon of Madison, FL and Kendrick Arnold of Tallahassee, FL; maternal grandfather: Leroy Alexander of Madison, FL; siblings: Quetesha Arnold of Orlando, FL, Kendrick Arnold and Shyeta Arnold, both of Tallahassee, FL; along with many other sorrowing relatives and compassionate friends.
