Minister Myriall Courtney Hampton
"B O O"
1981 - 2022
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4)
Minister Myriall Courtney Hampton came into the world on December 12, 1981, to not only bless her parents, LaPadre Hampton and Shuwanda V. Miller, but also be a blessing to the communities where she resided. She lived her formative years in Greenville, Florida before she relocated to Deland, Florida, 15 years ago.
Minister Hampton was educated in the public school system of Madison County. She was a critical thinker who constantly challenged herself to reach for the stars because she knew that the sky was the limit. In Deland she enrolled at Florida Technical College where she maintained the Dean's List status to earn her Business Marketing and Management degree. She later received certification in phlebotomy. She was a very dedicated clinical lab assistant.
At an early age, Minister Hampton professed her faith in Jesus Christ, receiving the gift of the holy ghost, speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God gave the utterance. She was an active member of Tabernacle of Praise Church of God in Deland. She never met a stranger but used that experience as an opportunity to meet new friends she had not gotten a chance to know or speak to before. She evangelized with a servant leader's heart and used every opportunity to demonstrate her love and concern for the well-being of others. She was committed to building relationships and leading by Christian examples. As the group leader for youth, she used her God given ability to network and spread the joy of the Lord by motivating, invigorating, and encouraging these young people to always give their best effort.
Minister Hampton had a loving heart for everybody, and her love for family was no exception. She was "a daddy's girl", but she also shared a close bond with her aunt, Leola Seabrooks. Her endless love had enough room to include her niece and nephew, Mylas Jenkins and Noah Griffin, whom she welcomed into her home during the summer to keep them encouraged.
Fond memories of Minister Myriall Hampton's godly mission will linger long after her footprints in the sands of time are gone. Her good will, faith, but most of all, love will reign forever in the hearts of all whose lives she impacted. On Thursday, March 17, 2022, she departed this life and was ushered in the presence of the Holy Spirit where she will dwell forever more.
Forever cherishing her life and legacy of good will are Minister Hampton's loving parents: LaPadre (Joyce) Hampton and Shuwanda V. (Howard) Miller; sons: Anthony J. Hamilton, Jr. and JaVaugn J. Cobb, Jr.; brothers: Fernando Hampton, Isaac (Chaz) Hampton, LaPadre Hampton, Jr., Jerelle (Jackie) Hampton, Sr., Jabin Manor, Brandon Williams, Howard D.
