Missionary Luneal Savage Alexander
December 17, 1951 - November 9, 2024
"Her Children Arise and Call Her Blessed" ~ Psalm 31:28
Missionary Luneal Savage Alexander, the daughter of Samuel Savage and Mable Townsend Savage Clarkston, was born December 17, 1951. She was a resident of Pinetta (Madison County), Florida.
Educated in the Lowndes County Public School System, Luneal was a 1969 graduate of Westside High School in Valdosta, Georgia. Earlier in her life, Luneal confessed her belief in Jesus Christ, was baptized by faith, and promised to serve Him dutifully. As a dedicated member of Mt. Zion House of Prayer for 32 years, she demonstrated her love for the Lord by her faith, kindness, and steadfast devotion. Her unwavering spirit, unconditional love of family, and her living the Golden Rule made a profound impact on all who knew her. She was a loving mother, a beloved grandmother, a confident friend, and a Proverbs 31 virtuous woman of God.
Luneal was employed for many years at Crackin' Good Bakery, but she also had interests in fashionable sewing and styling hair. Also, during her leisure time, she loved to garden and/or to find unique treasures at thrift shops and flea markets. She was especially proud of her collection of pig figurines. Her other pastime pleasures included watching Jeopardy, Let's Make A Deal, The Price Is Right, and Family Feud and syndicated classic television westerns -– Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, and The Rifle Man.
Because Luneal Savage Alexander's soul was anchored in the Lord, she had blessed peace with her Lord so near. Therefore, when He called her, she answered, for she was somewhere listening for her name. Surrounded by the mutual love of family, she willingly crossed from time into eternity on Saturday, November 9, 2024. It is well with her soul!
