Life Story
Moniqueca Channell Webb
"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were
dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."
~ 2 Corinthians 5:1~
Moniqueca Channell Webb was the loving daughter born to Gloria Moore and Dwayne Blunt. She resided in Delray Beach and was a lifelong resident of Palm Beach County, Florida except for the four years she resided in Broward County, Florida.
Preceding Moniqueca in death were her aunt: Patricia Moore; uncle: Peter Moore; cousin: Tia Moore; grandparents: Nellie Moore and Wilbert "Billie" Moore; great grandparents: Grace President and Williams President; great-great grandmother: Willie Mae Stewart.
She was affectionately called "Mo" by everyone except for her grandfather, Wilbert "Billy" Moore whose special name for her was "Ballerina". Moniqueca was an earnest believer in celebrating life itself, and she left a lasting impression with those whose lives she impacted. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, loving embrace, unconditional love and for the quality time spent with her wonderful family.
Having received her degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Florida Career College, Moniqueca believed education was not an option. She valued its importance and constantly challenged herself and others to willingly learn new concepts to ultimately be elevated in life.
A loving and compassionate person, Moniqueca was one who loved to spend time with the elderly. For this reason, she volunteered at Regents Park Nursing Home in Boca Raton, Florida. These residents became her extended family members whose well-being meant the world to her.
Moniqueca had a longstanding relationship with the Lord. She confessed Christ and was baptized by faith and kept Him as the center of her joy. She honored Him daily by serving Him with gladness until the end of her life. She was a faithful member of Harvest Time Deliverance and Fellowship Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Although their hearts are heavy, her loved ones can be assured that Moniqueca is safe in the hands of God. "I am at peace; my soul is at rest. There is no need for tears for your heart I was so blessed for all these years". May this knowledge bring the comfort and peace that is needed to heal.
On Saturday, March 27, 2021, Moniqueca answered the Master's call. She closed her loving eyes and fell into eternal sleep, transitioning from this earthly life to live forever with her heavenly Father.
Among those who will forever cherish her beautiful legacy and memory are special companion: Kenneth "Junior" Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her loving children: Zathuan Moore, Cedric Braddy, Kamari Smith, Zahria Moore, and Kennedy Smith, all of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; loving and supportive parents: Gloria Moore and Dwayne Blunt, of Delray Beach, FL; caring siblings: Karl (Latoya) Webb of Lantana, FL and Ebony Webb of Delray Beach, FL; step children, Daisha Smith, Kenneth Smith III; a host of grieving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.
