In Loving Memory of Patrick Austin Lewis Malone

Patrick Austin Lewis Malone, age 44, passed away in Tallahassee, Florida on September 14, 2026. Born at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado on September 29, 1981, Patrick was a witty, clever, and remarkably charismatic man. Blessed with a quick mind and a natural gift for conversation, he possessed a charm so compelling he could have easily sold ice to Eskimos.

Patrick served his country as a Military Police officer (M.P.) in the United States Army. Patrick deeply loved his three children, Logan, Isabella, and Ebenezer. He spoke of them with immense pride, and gave him true joy. He also cherished his time spent with his numerous nieces and nephews. Later in life, when physical isolation became a reality, he found great comfort and joy in staying connected with them through online gaming.

As with all who battle the profound disease of alcoholism, Patrick carried a lifetime of deep pain and loss, a struggle that intensified over the past few years as his physical health began to fail. He was undeniably complex, and his struggles often brought difficulties to those who loved him most. Yet, beneath those complexities was a man who possessed a natural empathy for others and a rare ability to make anyone smile and laugh. He was incredibly generous—if Patrick had anything to give, he gave it freely, without reservation or remorse.

Patrick was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jack Steven Malone and Kathleen Hope Pugliese (née Malone).

He is survived by his cherished children, Logan Xavier Malone, Isabella Loretta Malone, and Ebenezer Jack Malone; his brothers, Jack Charles Malone, Robert William Craycraft, Steven Junior Malone, Clifford Carl Malone, Daniel Malone, and Paul Vincent Pugliese III; and his sisters, Christina Lynn Malone, April Rose Malone, and Lori Lou Malone.

The family wishes to express their eternal gratitude to God for the time granted. They also extend their deepest appreciation to JP Moore and Staff of Tallahassee for their compassion and gentle care; to Mrs. Katina Jackson for her service to our country and it's veterans and her support throughout; and a special thanks to Officer Certainty for his service to the community, genuine concern, and profound humanity during a difficult time.
