Randall Craig Allen, age 68, of Monticello, Florida, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

He was born on May 6, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late William & Wanda June (Leneave) Allen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clifton Allen.

Randall spent his career at the Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet, Illinois, where he dedicated 35 years of service operating the commissary.

Randall had an array of interests that reflected his personality. He was an avid collector of antiques, was fascinated with fast cars, enjoyed going to the beach, appreciated good food, and was a self-proclaimed "Trekkie".

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Bobbi Jo Allen of Staunton, IL; his sister, Debra Gray (Ronnie) of Cadiz; nieces, Heather Francis (Chris) and Lori Brown (Ryan), and nephew, Cody Gray (Blair).

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM at Cunningham - Trigg Furnace Cemetery, 7402 Rockcastle Road, Cadiz.
