Mr. Robert Abel, Jr.
1928 - 2023
"I will lie down in peace altogether, and sleep; for you alone, O Yahuah, make me dwell in safety." TEHILLIM Psalm 4:8
Mr. Robert Abel, Jr. , a loving and supportive father, was born January 23,1928. As the family's patriarch, he will forever be remembered as extremely kind, generous, and sociable person who was well-loved and well-received by everyone he encountered.
Robert lived a beautiful life filled with so much love, which was a direct reflection of his belief in the Messiah. He had been very active in his congregation in Cartersville, Georgia. However, after he relocated, he attended often as he was able to do so.
Having served his country honorably in the military, Robert was later gainfully employed until his retirement.
During his retirement years, Robert continued to have an active lifestyle by having many hobbies. He enjoyed traveling, canoeing, pencil drawing, water color painting, digital flying, and writing letters to family and friends. He also enjoyed volunteering in Port St. Lucie's "Adopt a Street" program by riding his scooter to pick up trash. At the young age of 94, he was recognized and awarded the "Golden Grabber Award" for picking up the most trash.
Robert Abel, Jr. was blessed to have been surrounded by family and friends during his hospital stay. His last week was spent listening to videos and letters read to him from his loved ones. However, he succumbed to a heart attack on Monday, August 21, 2023. May you rest in peace, Father, and forever stay in our hearts. You are so dearly loved and so sadly missed. "Much comfort comes in knowing that HE heals the brokenhearted, and binds their wounds." -Psalm 147:3
Robert Abel, Jr. leaves to cherish his precious memories his children: Deborah LeDane, Patricia Josephson, Robert Hinds, and Mark (Beth) Krah; grandchildren: Jennifer (Charles) White, Stephanie (Byron) Garcia, and Preston Krah; great-grandchildren: Jocelyn, Caitlin, Lana, and Zachary; along with many other loving friends.
"When you lie down, you shall not be afraid: Yea, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet." MISHLEI - Proverbs 3:24
