Shawnesha Nicole Jones

Shawnesha Nicole Jones the beloved daughter of Stanley Jones, Sr. and Tangala Anderson Jones, was born on August 27, 1984 in Harvey, IL. She resided in Tallahassee, Florida, for the past ten years.
Shawnesha completed High School at Madison County High School, Madison, Florida in 2002. She continued her education by receiving her Bachelor's Degree.
Shawnesha was a people person whose sweet spirit, love, and kindness caused her not to regard those she had never met as strangers. She was a generous and loving person.
Shawnesha believed in doing things with excellence. She wanted the best for her family and modeled this by being a great provider for them. She was employed by several state agencies with the last one being the State Department of Transportation in Tallahassee, Florida.
One of Shawnesha's favorite pastime interests was cooking and baking. She enjoyed finding new recipes to prepare for her family. However, her specialty was baking. Her expertise in creating mouthwatering cakes earned her high praise.
During her recent illness she returned to the Lord, repented of her sins and accepted Him as her personal Savior. She departed this life with victory and the reward of eternal life in heaven on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was a member of Monticello Community Temple Church of God in Christ, Monticello, Florida.
She leaves to celebrate her life her sons: Christian Kaleb Jones and Carter Khalil Jennings of Tallahassee, Fl; daughter: Christie Kaylan Jones of Greenville, Fl; father: Stanley Jones, Sr. of Kankakee, IL; brothers: Michael (Elizabeth) Jones of Lake City, Fl and Stanley Jr. (Sara) Jones of Tallahassee, FL; maternal grandmother: Mattie Anderson of Rayville, La and a host of other relatives, friends and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Tangala Anderson Jones; paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
