Tami Sue Strickland Wooddell
"Tabitha"
October 8, 1974 – March 23, 2024
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." ~ Psalm 23:1
Tami Sue Strickland Wooddell, affectionately known as Tabitha, was the special blessing given to her parents, Thomas Strickland and Nettie June Carver on October 8, 1974, the day of her birth. From that day, Tami grew from a lively, outgoing little girl to a loving, people-oriented, fun-loving adult. She was a resident of Lee, Florida.
She is another leaf from the family tree that has fallen. Tami's parents, Thomas Strickland and Nettie June Carver Rowe preceded her in death.
Tami Sue met Charles Wooddell, the love of her life, in 2010; they were united in marriage in 2019. She was a loving wife who also shared her love with her adorable "fur babies," Roxie and Abbie.
Tami Sue was a team player and an industrious employee whose last career opportunities were with Nestle Waters and Connected International, Inc. (Medical Cannabis). She was determined to make a difference every day she was on the job.
Tabitha spent her time away from her job being busy with her favorite pastime creative routines. She loved to bake her mouthwatering cheesecake as well as to create custom made shirts and other signature leather or vinyl items on her Cricut machine. She was also talented with embroidery. However, to get away from her daily rituals, she loved to go on camping trips as much as she loved cold, wintry weather.
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, Tami Sue Strickland Wooddell departed this earthly life and transitioned to her eternal home to begin her eternal celebration. It is hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Tami Sue Strickland Wooddell left her love, life, and legacy to those who will continue to treasure her special memories. She is survived by her devoted husband: Charles Wooddell of Lee, FL; brothers: Earl (Lorie) Rowe of Pinetta, FL and Keith Strickland of Central Florida; sisters: Marie (Paul) Kirkland of Valdosta, GA, Tina (Clay) Trimble of Jennings, FL, and Carlene (Edwin) Swilley of Madison, FL; as well as many other loving relatives and comforting friends.
