"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1
The time of great joy for Tavares and Mona Sanders began on May 18, 2000, when Tavares Tywan Roshawn Sanders entered this world and became a welcomed addition to the Sanders family. Young Tavares was a lifelong resident of the Pinetta, FL community. Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Early and Julia Thompkins, Jimmy Lee Sanders, as well as three uncles and two aunts.
Formally educated in the Madison County Public School System, Tavares was a very respectful, well mannered young man with a winning smile. Some of his fondest memories included his contribution in winning two state football championship titles for the MCHS Cowboys. Most important to Tavares, however, was his crossing the stage to receive his high school diploma in 2019.
Earlier in Tavares's life, he had the desire to learn more about Christ and to accept Him as his Redeemer. This belief, together with his parental upbringing, gave him a sense of purpose by selflessly helping others in various ways. This became his mission—his way of giving back and showing them that he cared.
Tavares earned two nicknames, "Toot" by his biological family and "Nugget" by his Cowboy family. In each instance, the names fit his personality and suited their purpose.
Because he was one who did not allow himself to be bored, Tavares developed a couple of pastime interests that kept him engaged. He loved listening to music, for it kept him focused, especially as he worked on cars.
Nugget initially chose employment after graduation and for the past year, he had been employed at Popeye's in Lake Park, GA. He was very reliable and willing to learn many positions. These qualities did not go unnoticed by management, and if he could have continued growing in the business, the sky is the limit for what he could possibly have accomplished.
Tuesday, April 19, 2022, began a season of great sorrow because many hearts were not yet ready for Tavares Tywan Roshawn Sanders to earn his angel wings for entering eternal glory.
A time to heal as Tavares's loved ones will forever cherish his unforgettable life and loving memories. Among these are his beloved parents: Tavares and Mona Sanders; loving siblings: Alonzo Bell of Homerville, GA, Sherrod Brinson, and Omari Sanders, and Ca'Nedra (Joshua) Arnold, all of Pinetta, FL; "Go to" grandmothers: Lorene Sanders of Pinetta, FL and Estellieta Williams of Jacksonville, FL; as well as a host of sorrowing aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
