"Cindy"
1998 - 2023

SUNRISE
T'Keristen Ro'YAnna Yazmine Brown, affectionately called "Cindy", was born on March 9, 1998, in Tallahassee, Florida, to a loving and caring mother, Markesha Thomas and father, Bobby Brown. She developed a love for the Lord and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and under the pastoral leadership of the Reverend Dr. Charlie Barfield.

A TIME TO RECONNECT THE FAMILY CHAIN
Preceding Cindy in death are her dearly beloved maternal grandmother: Pearlie Mae Williams; paternal grandfather: Dorsey Williams; maternal great-grandparents: George and Pearlie Mae Thompson; paternal grandmother: Margaret Harris; uncle: Eddie Johnson, Jr.; and cousin/special friend: J'Vontrey Mitchell.

A TIME TO LIVE
Cindy was blessed with many talents and skills, especially in sports and music. She taught herself with much persistence and practice until she achieved her goal. This included tumbling, as well as playing the piano and guitar. As matter of fact, there was very little that Cindy could not do athletically. She possessed a natural talent for softball and basketball. She used her skills to help the Madison County High School Cowgirls Varsity Basketball team make history by winning the school's first ever Girls State Championship in 2016. She also gave her best effort on the Madison County High School Softball team. To her credit, Cindy received a full athletic scholarship to play softball at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.

Cindy graduated from Madison County Central School and began her high school experience at Madison County High; however, on May 26, 2017, she was a graduate of the James Madison Preparatory High School's inaugural senior class. After her college experience, Cindy had many career endeavors, but her final employment was with Madison Correctional Institution.

A TIME TO LOVE
Cindy Brown was a beautiful, loving, caring daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece. A most affectionate person, she was committed to expressing love to her family and close friends. She had a beautiful soul and an infectious smile that could light up any room. Cindy demonstrated her incredible love for her grandmother, family, and friends. She loved to spend time with each of her siblings and cousins, especially when all of them were together. She loved everyone unconditionally but had a very special relationship with her beloved grandmother, the late Sister Pearlie Mae Williams, affectionately known as "CooCoo".

A TIME TO SERVE
Cindy enjoyed serving the Lord with gladness. An active member of Madison Church of God, she truly loved being involved in the choirs and the plays that illustrated the Bible.

SUNSET
"Precious Lord, take my hand and leadeth me on..." T'Keristen "Cindy" Brown departed this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, a day that was filled with deep sorrow and grief. However, there was comfort in knowing that she is at home with her Heavenly Father and is now reunited with her grandmother, Pearlie Mae Williams. Cindy's storm is over; there is no more pain.
