On January 15, 1974, Tywana Montrell Arnold was welcomed into the family of Homer Jean James and Woodrow Arnold, Sr. Because she brought so much joy into their home, she was affectionately called "Sunshine". Tywana was a lifelong resident of the Greenville, FL community. Preceding her in death were her parents; grandparents: Ed and Rebecca Arnold and Eddie W. and Jessie B. James; and godson: Lawrence Franklin, Jr.

Tywana received her education in the Madison County School District. She advanced her education at Taylor Technical School in Perry, FL and earned certification in the Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) Program. Afterwards, she began her career, which spanned more than 20 years, at Madison County Memorial Hospital and Lake Park of Madison Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Tywana loved helping patients and residents whose health would not permit them to care for themselves. Most of all, she loved sharing her rays of "sunshine" to keep them encouraged.

Tywana enjoyed taking the time to always look her best because it boosted her morale for always being at her best. Regardless of whether she was with her family and or friends, she was always the life of the party. Because she was so loving, kind and fun, she handily earned the title "favorite auntie" by her nieces, nephews, and even some of the other relatives. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, caring heart, loving embrace, and unconditional love.

During her time away from the job and other responsibilities, Tywana loved to watch the hit television series "Love and Hip-Hop" but her most enjoyment came with any opportunity for her to travel, whether it was just for a weekend or on a vacation getaway.

Tywana loved the Lord and accepted Him as her Savior many years ago. Her love for Him was reflected in the way she cared for others and how she related to them. She was a member of Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greenville.

Tywana unexpectedly transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, April 30, 2021. Although loved ones' hearts are heavy, they can celebrate her life and find comfort that she is with the Lord.

It has been said that when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Treasuring Tywana's sweet memory are her children raised as her own: William (Kim) Terry of Quitman, GA; Denny Arnold, Sr. of Madison, FL; Ryshard Miller, Jr., Javon Thompson, and Makechia Daniels both of Greenville, FL; brothers: Michael Blue and Omar (Amber) Miller, all of Greenville, FL; Ronald James of Perry, FL; Anthony Arnold of Clearwater, FL; Woodrow Arnold, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL; Sisters: Marcia Bellamy; Voncelia Jackson, and Roshannon Powell, all of Greenville, FL; aunts: Susie Jay, Beulah Livingston; Mable Lucas, Ethel Dennis; Uncles: Calvin James; Roosevelt Arnold, Freddie Arnold;
Barry Crews; special Niece: Chiquila Pleas; adopted sister: Tina Young; god brother: Cortez Meeks; adopted father: Israel (Rutha) Livingston, Sr.; godmother: Ruby Fead; god children: Shantonia Lewis; Mason and Madison Adams; best friend: Valerie Roberson; along with a host of other sorrowing and loving relatives, friends, and neighbors.
