Ulysses Lenard Seymore
JUNE 9, 1964 – FEBRUARY 5, 2025
"Well done, good and faithful servant… Come and share your master's happiness!" ~ Matthew 25:21 (NIV) ~

ULYSSES LENARD SEYMORE passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, at the age of 60. He was born June 9, 1964, in Madison Florida, and he is the oldest child born to Alma Swilley and Ulysses Seymore. He attended Madison Primary and Madison Middle Schools.\ After the death of ULYSSES mother, he moved to Orlando, Florida with his aunt and uncle. He attended Memorial Middle School and graduated from Jones High School in 1982.

ULYSSES began working for many different companies during his lifetime. He worked for McDevitt and Street General Contractors, High Regency Grand Cypress, Grand Cypress Jack Nicholas Signature Golf Course, O'Reilly Auto parts, and Sharp Lawn Service.

Early in ULYSSES' life he was diagnosed with kidney failure. With a blessing from God and a very dear friend, Russell McClain, he was given a kidney. After nine years, his kidneys failed again, and he was diagnosed with a heart condition as well.

ULYSSES enjoyed dressing in all the latest fashions and many family and friends called him, "Seymore, The Lover." He could be seen every week getting a haircut from Stoney's Place. He enjoyed dancing, listening to different kinds of music and playing dominos with his friends. ULYSSES loved his car, and he enjoyed keeping it sparkling clean. He also enjoyed driving the family boat.

Anytime there was a family gathering, ULYSSES would tell family jokes and secrets to make everyone laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He would often attend the grandkids' football, basketball, and baseball games.

ULYSSES accepted Christ as his Savior during one of the many prayer calls with his uncle and aunt. ULYSSES leaves to cherish his memory, his bonus mother and father: W Gene and Alyce Grace; his children: Nicole (Glen), LaKesha, Nicole (Ernest), Shakeeba, Aandre, Capri, Lajanna (Myron), Tashanna (Shannon), Angela, Decarise, Chemiah, Tirrell, Cory, Alesha, Marshayde, Keldrick, Ashley, Taylor, Erica, DeAndre and Akala; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Kimberly Williams and Jackie (Leon) Lester; brothers: Archie, Royce (Robin), Trevor, Jarvis, and Nicholas; god-sister: Stephanie McClain; best friends: Darryl, Vernon and Kenny; numerous uncles and aunts; a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Preceding ULYSSES in death are his mother: Alma Swilley; his father: Ulysses Seymore; two sisters: Minister Sheila Samuels, and Chiquita Swilley
