Mrs. Wanda Black of Tampa, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Derrick Levy, Officiating. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Wanda Black was born to the union of Earl and Hazel Strange in Tampa, Fl. She grew up in West Tampa and graduated from Jefferson High School. Wanda enjoyed working in the Finance division as a Bank Teller most of her life. She also was a business owner of Family Tree Daycare where she enjoyed taking care of children and interacting with the community. Wanda raised 2 children and spent much of her time enjoying her grandchildren. She later moved to Bascom, FL where she pursued her passion for nature. She loved gardening, crafting, and birdwatching.
Wanda is preceded in death by: her father, Marion Earl Strange.
She is survived by: her husband, Lloyd C. Black Jr.; two children, Shawantill Hill (Kyle) and Shanell Black; mother, Hazel Strange; brother, Shawn Strange; father-in-law, Lloyd C. Black Sr. (Shirley); and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws of sisters, nieces, and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
