William Albert Jacobs, Jr. 56, departed this earthly journey on Monday, June 19, 2023. He was born on September 14, 1966 to Patricia and William Albert Jacobs, Sr.

He received his formal education from the local Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and was a graduate of Parkland High School. William was employed by the City of Winston-Salem. In his leisure time, William loved sports and was an avid die-hard UNC Tar Heels Fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Jacobs, Sr. and grandson, Taylen Jacobs.

William leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Patricia Jacobs; companion, Dustine Brown; daughters, Janeka Kirk, Shawnteria Jacobs; sons, William A. Foster, Taji (Jasmine) Jacobs, Sr.; sister, Teresa Jacobs; brother, Albert Jacobs; grandchildren: Alexis Paige, Sania Foster, Aniyah Wilson, Jade Wilson, Khaliah Jacobs, Taji Jacobs, Jr., Jace Jacobs and Shelton Wilson, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His life will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem) with visitation at 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family has requested that friends and family dress in casual wear for the funeral services.
