WILLIE CHANDLER WILLIAMS, SR. , was born June 4, 1959, in Quincy, Florida, to Joe Chandler and Annie Ree Roberts Williams. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Chandler; his sister, Mary Williams; and brother-in-law, Alvin Humphrey, Sr.

Growing up in Madison, WILLIE received his primary and secondary education from the Madison County Public School system, graduating with the 1977 class of Madison High School. He later advanced his education at North Florida Junior College Vocational Center, where he graduated with certification in auto mechanics.

After the completion of his education, he was gainfully employed for 40 years with Coleburn's Body Shop and over four years with North Florida Paint and Body. His Christian experience began at Jeslamb African Methodist Episcopal Church in Madison, Florida, where he was instructed in the way of God - learning to always put God first, family second, and to love his neighbor as he loved himself.

A fun-loving and family-oriented person, "BOONE" as he was affectionately known, enjoyed every aspect of living. He truly lived his life to the fullest. Along the journey, he celebrated life through the pleasure and presence of family and friends. In his free and personal time, he enjoyed fishing, eating Hershey bars, and watching syndicated television shows ( Wrestling, Andy Griffith, Sanford and Son, Gun Smoke, and The Young and the Restless ).

On September 12, 2020, surrounded by family and those whom he loved, WILLIE relinquished his earthly ties, donned a robe of everlasting life, and went Home to be with God. His love and legacy will be forever treasured by his wife of 14 years: Patricia Humphrey Williams; children : Willie (Salina) Williams, Jr., April (Brian) Williams, Charece Williams, and Jamale (Tamera) Weatherspoon; mother : Annie Ree Roberts Williams; siblings : Chandler Williams, James Williams, Richard Hill, Antonio (Vanessa) Williams, Joe (Dawn) Collins, Steve (Felecia) Collins, Mary (Eric) Harvey, Glendale Moore, Glenda Jones, Yolanda Denson, Vivian (James) Miller, Sheri (Anthony) McGee, and Ovedia Davenport; mother-in-law : Jeanette Humphrey; sisters-in-law : Rosemary (George) White, Janet Jones, Judy Humphrey, and Betty Akins; brother-in-law : Roosevelt (Latresa) Humphrey; grandchildren : Nacoya, Malachi, Corbae, Cortez, Khalbe, Brison, Briley, and Madicyn; great-grandson : Dondrell, Jr; special nieces and nephews : Minnie, Tiffany, Jamie, and Mike; a very special godson : Nazareth Luckey; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and nephews, and cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
